In January 2007, Melissa & Wes Anderson formed Rockwell Anderson Studio, continuing the Family Film & Photography tradition started by Albert Rockwell, Melissa's Great-Grandfather, in the year 1907. One of Albert Rockwell's claims to fame was being jailed for showing his film that he wrote, directed, and produced because he showed it on a Sunday in the year 1916.
Since opening their Studio in 2007, Melissa & Wes Anderson have photographed people ranging from celebrities to the homeless, animals ranging from alligators to house pets, events ranging from pro sports to local talent shows and weddings, musicians ranging from Platinum selling artists to local bar bands, landscapes from New York to Florida to California and points in between, and architecture ranging from small country churches and barns to the oldest national landmark in the United States. No Event is too small or too big. No Person is too famous, infamous, or neither. All animals are fascinating. Beauty can be found in every landscape no matter where it is. Every piece of architecture contains a story. Every photo is taken with Love and Appreciation for the story each photo tells about its subject.
Photography is our Art & Passion because it's how we express ourselves and the World we see. We hope you enjoy our work as much as we do, and we hope you are able to find your own stories in the images we have shown you.
